The Future of Synthetic Enzymes

Phil Holliger from the LMB in Cambridge is inventing a new type of enzyme. He says it could be used to attack viruses like Ebola or HIV and chop their genomes in half. It would also stop the virus from spreading through the body once it's cut generally there's no way back for the virus.
