The Teachers Union Takes a Stand
Teachers felt like, ok, we're protected, at least because we have, you know, were vaccinated. With this new variant, and with so many people getting colded who were vaccinated, tthat the teachers were not only worried about them getting sick,. but they were also worried that thao schools weren't going to have enough staff to really make them schools. So i think that the monday and tuesday of last week kind of confirmed to a lot of teachers that the school district was not ready for what was going on.
