The Effect of Age on Echolocation

Scientists have been studying echolocation for over 100 years. It's only in the last 40 or so years that we've really got a grip on some of the more subtle aspects, says Dr Daniel Rowan from University of Southampton. The experiments involve a special room called an anechoic chamber which is one of the quietest places on Earth. Marnie Chesterton talks to Dr Rowan about his research and how it could help people with disabilities.
