Emerging Writers - Is This a Good Idea?
Meg Ryan: Emerging writers and directors should look at them as an asset for the creative process. "I wouldn't get too bogged down and worrying about it when you're in your draft sex," she says of writing a script with a director on it. 'No excuses here to our emerging writers in pre production,' she adds, adding that there's a difference between giving someone a script and selling it.
