The Importance of Portability

I think portability is, like you said, not the, I need to be able to move it, but I don't have to think about how it's anchored to the ground. And if you see the evolution of, I used to write build scripts, and it was an idea that let's have our Infrastructure as code. Well, now we're a few layers abstracted from the infrastructure as code. Same goes for the web assembly area as well.
