If you have a place where there is nothing, not even the laws of physics, to me that's as good as nothing as you'll ever find. Let's pretend you could get rid of it. Are there still laws of physics that apply there? Maybe a true nothing is not only where there's no matter and no virtual particles and no shape of the fabric of space time - then how do you even interact with it? All interactions engage some law of physics to enable any reaction in the first place.
