Application Metrics Map to User Outcomes

We also keep records of things like a lot of the same things that anybody running another application would keep track of. We keep track of function invocations and duration and input parameters and output results and exceptions thrown. It's really not that different of an approach from what you might find or need on a, you know, a VM or in a container. It's just that we're paying less attention to things like CPU and memory and infrastructure concerns we actually get to focus on application metrics instead of other things.
