The Assyrian Captivity and the Babylonian Capture
The book tells us in verse one that this is the word the Lord came in the days of Bairi, of Hoshaya. This is taking us straight into the mid-eighth century where you have the Assyrians that are looming. Tigleth police are. It will shortly start wreaking havoc on the region. And yes, we have the Isaiah's, the Amuses that are warning us that there is some trouble that's brewing and it's time to do something about that.
