Brandon's new book, Why did jesus live a perfect life? is published by baker academic. In 15 years of working on these thoughts, have you recognized or realized a shift in scholarship or the acceptability of these types of approaches? Is it as unusual to find biblical theology as it used to be? Yes. I do think there is a greater proliferation now than there was when i started my dissert on things like reading the gospels theologically.
