This is the weirdest game that has come out in 2022. It's appealing to a specific demogr- normally when you have these superhero based games, it has to be character action. But let me take a step back because I think everybody when they heard about this game, Marvel Midnight Sons was like, "Oh for access to making it, they made XCOM" And then they kind of realized like the key of those sort of tactical shooters cover and heroes don't take cover.
Marvel's Midnight Suns is a tactics game from XCOM developer Firaxis, only instead of shooting aliens a hundred times from behind cover, you play cards to beat ass with your best friend, Blade. This is, objectively, a very good idea, but how well does the rest of the game hold up? Also, what's on our backlog as we approach the GOTY proceedings?
