God's Help in Trouble

The psalm is a picture of natural cataclysm, perhaps even in time's catastrophe. The earth and mountains are being overtaken by the restless, raging, unstable, dangerous sea. verse two says, amazingly, as mike just prayed, we will not fear. If god's people can be without panic when the ground is shifting and the seas are raging then we can face any crisis in our lives with confid e in him, whatever trouble comes.
