Why Shouldn't We Talk More Than Listen?

We are usually more interested in ourselves than other people. We want to edge ourselves up just a little bit more so that we can seem to be better. If you think you've got a pretty good judge of them, then you may just want to focus on moving yourself up. But for yourself though, there's no threshold effect. You just always want to bebetter. Right? Because you never expect any one person you might be good enough,. but there's, you know, they might talk about you to other people and you just want to go up.
