The Uncomfortable Experience of Female Comedy
Chabria: Women are so funny in India. Our mothers and grandmothers are hilarious. No one knows they're hilarious. They don't even tell these jokes in front of the men. So everything in India culturally is designed in a particular way. And now we have this expectation that suddenly because we're in a comedy, all of this has to suddenly crumble and disappear - it just doesn't happen.
