The Pros and Cons of the New Course
The course, the weather and the strength of the field are probably the three biggest variables that affect the time that people finish. I looked at 2022 and 2021, the two runnings that we have on the new course compared to 19 and 18, which I'll call the old course. As it happens, the weather across those four years wasn't dramatically different. It's a bit windier in the old course grouping, 18 and 19. Big difference in strength of field last year when we had the lifetime athletes, the pros. But the results can be filtered for the pros.
