In Scotland, you can purchase these steak and kidney puddings at a chip shop. You can also in Scotland get something called a deep fried Mars bar. This is a very much a Scottish thing. I did try one - it was really nice. If you're ever in Scotland and you have a sweet tooth, I would highly recommend going to a chip shop and asking for a deep friedMars bar.
