This year in Nevada mountain range is where most people go. It has the highest mountain peak in the US, Mount Whitney at 14,505 feet. The largest and deepest alpine lake in the U.S., which is Lake Tahoe. In wintertime, you can stay there as well, but it actually has a lot of snow.
