Interval Based Weight Loss: A Solution to the Evolutionary Problem

Intermittent weight loss is an evolutionary solution to the obesity problem. When we diet, our body shuts down. Our metabolism shuts down and upper tight hormones change telling us to eat more consequently. So this is a cascade of physiological responses taking place within the body to take you back to your start point. But when we get people to lose weight in intervals every second month, we're actually switching off these biological protections that take place with dieting. That's going to increase your weight problem and it's contributing to the obesity prevalence. The other part of the puzzle is educating people on the pillars of health for good health.
