Mental Health or Mental Well-Being?
We need to be careful in how we speak about mental illness so that we don't see something biological as a reflection of a person's spiritual health or worth. One part takes precedence over another when we're physically ill. We concentrate on trying to reestablish a sense of routine health that's meaningful for us at whatever level we can do. When we're overwhelmed emotionally, we try to find that equilibrium again and try to parse through those emotional spaces when we're overwhelmed spiritually.
