The Singularity and the Universe

My personal interpretation would be that the technological singularity allows for a gut to plague dice with the universe. In other words, we do not have that determinism which says that one it is inevitable. Werner Vinci says it's very likely, but he says falling any major rejects the laws of physics. Einstein got it right. They got it wrong. But do you think holding the conclusions only by having new physical laws?
