How to Convert 100,000 Lines of Cobalt Code Per Week

I think back to when I started in this industry and, you know, that was a very common way of building large systems. And the solution was we're not going to rewrite this code. We're instead replacing it with a higher level language interpretation. That's what made us able to move up the value chain from C++ for one device to Unix kernel or something like that. But there are just too many cobalt programmers out there who can't be brought out of retirement.
