I grew up in public housing during the crack epidemic. I've had family members and friends who suffer from addiction. Many of them come to me and they're like, London, how the hell is this happening out here? How are we couldn't get away with this when we were growing up? They feel like things have gotten completely out of control more than they've ever experienced. If you don't have to live in it every day, it's a whole other ball game.
