Demeter's Journey Through Grief
Demeter disguises herself as an old mortal so that she can avoid the Olympians. The daughters of King Helios come by Demeter for water and they ask her if she's alright. They want to help a woman who has just had a son and would probably really love some help with him at this young age. She feeds him in Brogia, the drink of the gods, and buries him in the coals late at night.
