Children Learn Language Better Than Adults

Children spend far more time learning language than adults do, and that's one reason why they seem to be so good at it. The level of language output that we expect of them is fairly simple and unsophisticated. Children don't generally have those prejudices against New Yorkers or Southern Rednecks. They can often speak with a more native sounding accent because they fully embrace the culture surrounding them.
