Do You Know How Long a Project Should Take?

Many projects we work on, and i'll work on, where we have never experienced what we're going to be doing. Ah, it doesn't totally compensate for the fact if you have someone that done it before,. If it's soft wer development, and you know that one person works at a certain rate, an pace. And you know, they have a ability to build data bases which will give you a lot more insight in estimating how long a project should take. But it shouldn't be you, as the project manageer, telling people how long aproject should take. It should be o the team telling you how long it should take. That's right.
