The Lema Culture and the Moche Culture

The lema culture is also thought to have been influenced by another culture called the moche, which emerged at a similar time. The moche culture dominated the lands of northern coastal peru for most of the first millennium and are characterized by their vibrant seramics and temples. They mummified important individuals and sacrificed neighboring enemies with a military attitude. We also recognize that they were creating artifacts from metals too.
