The New Covenant Is Better Than the Old Covenant
The new covenant is beautiful because God doesn't just keep his side, but he also keeps your side of the covenant deal. This is what we call a covenant of grace. And so the Jews struggled with grace. They struggled with the idea of them not being able to contribute to their righteous standing before God. We are sinners from birth incapable of keeping the law. The only hope that we have in being justified is having the righteousness of Christ imputed to us by faith.
