The Effectiveness of NITRA and CCTNS in India

Two major developments come to mind right from the recent years. NITRA or network traffic analysis, which is similar to what Prism is for National Security Agency in the United States. And then you have the CCTNS or crime and criminal tracking network and systems. These two systems are now operational and I think they have been deployed at state police units as well. But it does not give that kind of information that investigators require for cracking a case.
