The Differences in Intuitions in Philosophers
In the 20th century there arose this kind of new conception of philosophy. Questions about human nature have traditionally been at the center of it, says Joshi Noep. Experimenters are trying to see how their intuitions differ from those of ordinary people. If you present concrete cases in different orders and then ask people about a general principle, ordinary folks' answer will be completely unaffected by the order which the concrete cases were presented. But professional philosophers' answers will be changed. And that raises the question of whether it's nature or nurture.
