He believes that civilization is something that just sucks up all different cultures and end creates this amalgam of o peoples with the sole purpose of making everything die out. So he believes that scientific progress will eventually lead to this utopia, or his ideal state,. which is, of course, very distopic. It's a, it's very interesting, but extremely depressing.
