In carrton's story, you have a female greek protagonist who ends up in the persian court. She is gazed upon by the great king and he wants her to become his concubine. In helodorus tail, so is e sov it twists it round. Where asakes has the female gaze s rather than the male gaze, and she is the one in power. Now, this doesn't sit comfortably with greets romans in terms of feminine power. It's even more to seen in a negative light.
