Venus Transit - A Sense of Place in the Universe
On the fifth or sixth of june, depending on what day it was in the world where you were, the sphere of venus started to emerge. In hawaii, it was just after midday. Pictures of people all over the world looking up at the sky were on the news. I saw the sun, but i saw thi tiny black dot and i knew that was venusexcited school children in east asia were among the first to see the spectacle.
