What's the Difference Between Neuropathic and Neurogenic Pain?
Pain is caused by damage or disease to the nervous system itself. There are three types of pain: neuropathic, psychogenic and somatophorem. Neuropathic pain can be described as burning, tingling, stabbing or pins and needles type of pain. Psychogenic pain is pain that's prolonged or increased by mental, emotional and behavioral factors.
