We learned by listening, asom and obviously we can do a lot more listening on listening. It is so important not only to listen, but to help the people who work for you learn how to explain their ideas in a way that is relevant the other person. The engineer who worked on the o rings which failed and caused the explosion, actually knew. He went home the night before the launch and he told his wife, we cided to kill seven astronauths to day. So that's kind of my two sense about why it's so important to clarify an idea before you go on to the next step.
