The highland park shooting in Illinois has drawn renewed attention to the so called red flag laws. Those state laws that allow authorities with a court order to temporarily seize guns from someone considered a danger to themselves or others. Experts say shooters can be inspired by dark, onlined sub cultures that glorify violence through photos and video.
