There were six private aeroplanes in the community. Some say those schools were better bos that white children attended. They just weren't separate, but unequal. Ian always tells kids, i don't even know anybody who owns a private plane to day. But yes, there were six, evidently, families who owned private airplanes. That at a time when most families didn't even own carso. And of course, floyd was able to bring it to light through illustrations.
