The Ultimate Logic of Algarism

The ultimate logic of this, it seems to me, is that we sub contract our human floor judgments to computers. Almost by definition, they are much less noisy than humans. And contrary to popular belief, the keen reason why agorisms are better than human judgment in many domains is not because they have massive amounts of data and an ability to extract superior insight from it. The basic reason is that they are noiseless. Even laughably simple algarisms, laughably simple rules that fit on the back of an envelope, are more accurate than human beings.
