The Higgs and the Strong Force

In the 70s Ken Wilson pointed out that the pure standard model with just a Higgs is horribly fine tuned. That kicked off an exploration of ideas, including supersymmetry and quantum gravity. But so far we haven't seen anything like that in terms of new particles at the Higgs or above it.
