A man named Manera was convicted of stealing a 17th century silver monstrance from a museum in Gouda, the Netherlands. In that 2009 case, Dutch police found traces of his DNA on a crowbar and bolt cutters. He said he may have touched them, but they were tools. They could have been used by others as well. The Mayan calendar says 2012 is when the world will end thanks to the Mayans.
