Is the Dollar a Winner Take All Game?
Dollar has gone from 71% of central bank reserves around the world to just 59%. The same thing happened to the pound as currency that was used globally for trade. But i think he's probably right, isn't he? And it's what we're seeing in the data. I'd be amazed if it happened in my lifetime that threnminby overtook the us. Dollar in terms of trading flow and the number of transactions that it was used for.
