The woman seemed dazed. Her speech was slow and odd as if she didn't quite remember how to string words together but not slurred or drunken. She went on for a while about how she suffered financial losses during the pandemic but found a new church and having faith was everything to her now. Really, it is a blessing. Being deprived of things, even food, that's how you find God.
