Locality Is Never Defined
I like to use the idea of ripples in a pond because it's a really useful one to start with as close as you can. If we're taking children into the unknown let's not jump all the way outwards until they've got a base level of understanding with something and kind of get the head round. I guess obviously you can then get into like local is never defined. So that how we're actually defining local really enhancing conversation. A colleague of mine, Bev Forest, hugely brilliant on all things locality. She did a bit of digging when we had to go back to Geoffrey Timmons from the earliest national curriculum of 1992 who basically described it in the most varied terms.
