The Importance of Tension in Argumentation
In an argument, there's always going to be some underlying state of exception between you and the person you're arguing with. That's why banning transgender affirming care by state legislatures is literally advocating for transgender genocide under their argumentation. This is something that the right doesn't understand: As long as they can chip away at a monolithic understanding of something, then they've already started the process by which you will lose.
