The History of Grave Digging
The thrill of excitement at finding something from the past was something that had been animating people for centuries. It started with digging up graves to find items that might be valuable, but also to dig for information. And then all that digging, that led to the advent of museums. They needed places to put the stuff that they excavated. By the mid 18 hundreds, you start to see a bunch of museums opening up all over the place,. like the smisonians national museum of natural history.
