How to Use butterFS on Your Laptop
The real answer to this is not to just install open-season, because it does do all of this stuff by default as far as I know. The problem is once negativity surrounds something, it's hard to shake off. My worry is, where does it live if you're not running BSD these days? But that's another matter. If you want the snapshots, you probably better off with butterFS.
