There's no traces left of what we were thinking in the archaeological record, you just have to take those examples and then try and extrapolate. So yeah, so it's a good game to try and guess when did we first start thinking about our own deaths and mortality and afterlife somewhere between the emergence of the first humans around quarter of a million years ago and probably be the by 40,000-ish when our modern minds were what they were. But that's all massive speculation,. But a reasonable conclusion, I think.
