Kathy Eden is a professor of sociology at Princeton University. She's known for her work on poverty in America. A lot of her research takes place in Baltimore, Maryland. Her most recent book is called Two Dollars a Day, Living on Almost Nothing in America. In it she writes about a boy named Marcus who was born into public housing.
