Video games are not the problem. The unsupervised nature of how kids use them might be part of the problem. Almost all of us could have a child that makes a racist joke, that makes another feel unsafe or unknowingly. There are consequences for your teen. But even more importantly, there are consequences to the kids of color, the Jewish kids, the queer kids, the trans kids around them who are hurt by their casual, harmful language.
