The Narcissism of the Apocalypse

Mike Downey: What interests me the most about you is not what you believe. It's the fact that you completely changed your mind at a time and our history when most people are petrified of changing their mind. So if you just give me the thumbnail sketch of your background, what you believed, what happened, I do want to understand as best I can how it all evolved for you. He also used to sing in an opera called "The Apocalypse of Narcissism," which he says was inspired by his own view on the end of the world.
