The Importance of Phones in Schools

The NSW government banned mobile phones from first bell to last bell. The ban had a caveat where teachers felt it was appropriate for kids to use on certain occasions, in particular lessons. Many schools who have done this say there's far less distraction in class and cyber bullying is reduced. It also leads to an increase in socialisation at lunchtime and at recess.
