The Importance of a Protective Order in the United States
The only way you get a recusal in any court in the United States is to actually show actual bias by the judge. That usually involves a situation where there's a relative or some family member that's involved with one of the parties in some way. It doesn't, just because this judge has put away a lot of people on January 6, just because he's losing motions before her, that is not a valid ground to get a Recusal. You've got to have very specific evidence that really shows that the judge himself or herself is actually biased against one of the Parties. I hear his words in my head as I was reading that article.
